I had the same problem with my AC D14...most of my chores around my place required the engine to be worked at barely above idle...check the basics, start at your spark plugs, then wires, then cap, rotor or points...my problem was a spark plug would often "foul" from the light work load on the engine...I fixed the problem by going to a "hotter" heat range spark plug. Hope this info is some help to your problem.
