Yea, I got one for an expired tag a few weeks ago by the Maryland State Police. 60 dollar fine, and I have a clean record. What bothers me is that yes, I was wrong, but how about a warning? I drove right to the MVA that minute to fix it. Its not like I am a criminal, and less than one mile from where they pulled me over people are dealing crack cocaine. I realize around here they are not here to protect and serve, its to "collect more money".
I did write a complaint letter, since they pulled me over on a part of the road (near Washington DC) that was very dangerous for me and the Policeman who wrote it up. I had to drive almost a mile to find a place to even pull over.
Check out all our red light cameras too... More money for the state and the body shops. Way more rear end collisions now with trucks and cars at red lights....

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
