Well, if you knew where the barracks was, and it might've been in kind of close proximaty to where the trooper pulled you over, a nice gesture might've been to drive over to see them and show them that you have resolved the issue of expired plates by producing a new registration. Then might've explained that DMV was closed the day they expired as a holiday, as well as the day after, and been really been really nice, friendly, and courteous. Troopers aint bad folks out to hang everyone, at least most aren't.
Posting their names here... Hmm. Escalating past the barracks commander before giving him a chance to resolve this matter after he said he'd give it attention... Hmm. I'm certain that all will turn out in the long run, but might have to extend your cooperation more than you had planned. One thing's for sure, if any of them own tractors and ever frequent this site for help or relaxation before this matter is resolved after naming them all... Get a haircut and don't showup wearing your favorite concert T-shirt. Hmm.
