Gene, It could have been a Steiger. For some reason Versatile stuck in my head. I even went as far to look up the current dealership at the site and call them (Richland Implement). They didn't have anyone to talk to that was there 30 years ago. As I recall it was an IH dealership so Steiger makes sense. I've looked at a Steiger web-site but it makes NO MENTION of such a critter. Where do you think that we could find a picture? I'm going to try and find a Steiger "historian". I am really glad to hear that someone else has seen it. I was beginning to think that I was nuts but I couldn't bear having my wife be right !! (again) Thanks.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
