I'd say 1,400lbs on the loader is going to be rough on the front axle and you would need some weight on the rear. Traction is going to be an issue in mud/snow. I think you would be better off with something a little bigger if your going to move bales that big with it. When I think of all the ways you might have an accident while tring to move a huge bale with what is basically a small utility, it scares me. I would suggest something along the lines of the Deere 6000 series or a Case IH 5000 series. Maybe a IH 706 or something, just something bigger that has more weight and could more easily move those bales safely and more reliably.
