Some of these folks think bonding the weld is taking a Lincoln 225 fishing on Saturday mornings and sharing old wifes tales with the block, or maybe a game of rummy with the Air Products man..
I think I'd just go back to JB Weld and silicone.
You would do better to write to the Handy Man on the Red Green Show, if Harold will air your question you will get much more valuable advice.
