Hey Walt, I was wondering where you got that hay rake. It looks like a New Idea. It also looks like it has a hitch welded on the right axle frame, is it a 1-1/4 solid unpainted piece? tapers to the hitch pin hole. It looks like a rake I bought new from Lehman Bros. in Amity in 1976. I sold it in the 1980's to Randy Smith over on Briddgeport road. He sold it to the people that bought his farm, the old Smith Dairy. Also the timbered land on the other side of the fence looks like a part of the 1000 acres. I worked on that farm for 20 years from early 1970's to 1990'2....James

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
