I had a set of cheap junk tires on my truck for about 50,000 miles before I finally got rid of them... and that was due to dry rot.. if it had not been for dry rot, I could"ve gotten about 20,000 more out of them. Think they were "sonics"
NOw, I run BFG tires, and they are the absolute best tires I can get. I also like the firestone steeltex tires for hauling. BFG All terrain T/A"s suck on gas mileage. I would think rough terrain T/A"s would be better on gas, or you can go with the Long trail T/A"s, which are highway all seasons. I love the goodyear, firestone, and michelin tires, but nothing takes BFG from my top tire choice.
