I've had pretty good luck w/ the Yokohama Geolander AT's. They do decent in mud, and snow, and don't howl too bad. My last set is a set of BFG Commercial Traction TA's. These aren't the AT KO's, but are a Commercial tire. My dad had a set of the older design of these that ran forever it seemed like. I drive gravel to and from work almost all the way, and am liking what I'm seeing for wear. They're not the greatest in mud, but are great on snow/ice. Sizes are somewhat limited in this tire.
Dad's been running recaps on the farm trucks, like another poster, pulling stock trailers up and down the gravel roads, we were trashing tires, we had some pretty bad luck w/ Hankook splitting in the middle of the tread as soon as they got a little wear. He's used some of the Green Diamonds for winter tires, we're on the fence with them right now. When the chunks get enough exposure, they chip out and leave the tire surface kinda feathered out, they almost look like they're not going to wear as well.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
