Looks to be a nice tractor. I'm thinking that many would die for a tractor like that. I don't know or care what you paid for that old iron, but I'm sure that it wasn't nearly as much as some as the new tin goes for that I hear asked about. Color don't really mean all that much to me, not if its a good tractor that does what it's supposed to when its supposed to, and aint got a mortgage on it. And if it aint running 56 years from now, it won't be because it aint up to it, it'll be that gasoline don't exist anymore. A W/F to boot. The Deere guy up the road had a W/F JD A on his lot a couple of years ago when I bought my 4520...a '70 4520, not that new tin that they call a 4520. W'F's on them old timers can come in handy, and some times not as handy as a N/F, but can't have it all, all of the time.
As always, enjoy, be safe. By the way, I saw a lineup of your tractors a short time ago setting out in the snow, didn't see no coffee cans over the stacks or covers over the shifter boots. I sure let one set out in the snow once, can over the stack, but moisture down the shifter around the boot sure made a mess in the tranny. Aint ever doing that again.
