We narrowered the chisel plow a few weeks back, hadn't had time to hook up yet....Tractor runs good, needs gauges, glow plugs, few wirein' problems, But nothin' major. We centered up on the chisel plow frame, moved in 6in. from each end, cut out a 3ft.peice on each end, welded the end pieces back on. Three springs with plow points on front beam, two on back beam, splittin' the difference between the front three. As You can tell, I don't know much about farmin'....When I was a kid, late 40s early 50s We raise cotton ran a few cows, corn, and a big truck patch.Last 20 years I've been playin' with a Farmall A and a Super A, workin' 4 or more acres in the spring. From what some HANDS tell Me I've built up a hardpan from not plowin' deep enough. If I get everything goin' this spring I'll try maybe 10 acres, Organic as possible. I appreciate The way You HANDS have helped Me out on this Forum....If You need info on Weldin' Machinein',Forgein',heat treatin',Gun buildin'...Maybe I can help. Thanks Wild Bill
