Yep that will work. If you aint hauling for hire you don't need all the authority. Ever once and again you might have to wait for the scales to close if they're inspecting trucks that day. Another thing too, you won't have to have the $750,000 liability nor cargo insurance at that weight and just hauling for yourself. I forgot to mention before these 4 states require you to have a CDL licence for any vehicle over 26,000 so be carefull if you're over that. I'm gonna check to see but I don't think you will have to have a fuel permit at your weight and with a gas burner. Seriously, if you get out of the truck with a greasy farm logo cap, spit snuff and scratch your butt when they stop you. You can get by with more. Tell em you're jest trying to git home, and "I dint hav no idie why ya wuz a stoppin me". I hope you the best luck with it. I never did say before but I would prefer at least a 32 ft trailer with a dove tail. I can get 3 small tractors on that size and I would dove tail it irregardless of the length. Them dead soldiers are easier to winch on with a dovetail.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
