I find it strange that it has the same 8/4 gears that my '75 JD has - I would figure this would be more modern than that. I'll go take a peek with a mechanic if the phone call doesn't scare me off. The machine is big for my needs, like swatting a fly with plywood, but I'm sure I could find some things to do with it. It doesn't change the fact that it's an extremely low price. Either ignorance, scam, or big repairs needed.
