The big thing w/ moving used equipment(ag or industrial) in either direction across the border is that it be clean of all soil and organic matter. It needs to be thoroughly power washed as it will be inspected by Agr. Dept. After clearing that inspection it is simply a matter of having a bill of sale and other relevant paper work.$50. spent on a customs broker is a good investment. The days of playing stupid are over. There are no duties, but like most government offices, there are fees for each of the processes. The easy way is to hire one of the many jockies who do this every week, but if you are up for a bit of an adventure do it yourself....its not that bad a process. Oh yeah, new rules require that customs have 2-4 hours advance notice of shipments arriving at border.Good luck.
