Actually, Belarus tractors are built in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
We had an old 520A years ago. It was a crude, oil leaking, unreliable, primitive beast. We were glad to see it go. That was working with WWII technology. Now they've moved up a few years. They've probably caught up to the late 70's or so by now. They're cheap to buy and expensive to fix, and they like to be fixed. Electrical systems are next to non existent... so the chain was often the best starter. The 520's only redeeming quality was that it was easy on fuel.... and it could LUG, mainly because nobody cared about it anyway. If it blew up or got stuck in a swamp, it was cheap enough that you just go buy another one! Most of those old things are gone from around here now. They've all been cannabilized to keep the remaining ones going... I wouldn't have another one on the place.
