Mike: All this talk about both wheels must weigh the same may be bull.. Many millions of hours were spent plowing (moldboard type) with one wheel in the furrow and the other wheel up on the stubble... Not very often would both wheels have the same traction....very seldom.. That means millions of hours were spent with the differantial handeling two wheels that were NOT turning the same speed or RPM.. Not very often did I hear about rear end problems from these millions of hours the farm tractors spent plowing with UNEQUAL traction to both wheels..I've seen a brake on one side or the other burned trying to hold it straight but no bad readends..As far as tipping over? If your area is flat, just be a bit more careful..Another thing..how many hours did you say you only use this one for snow plowing?? less than 40 hours per year? No big deal at all..just use it and don't worry a bit about weight differance unless its easy to add and you don't have much else to do..HR...PS: I've seen some add chains to just the stubble wheel for plowing when its real wet or the surface started to freeze..UNEQUAL wheel speed is nothing to worry about at all in farm tractors..
