My son is engaged, they were going to have a JP marry then at the courthouse in the spring and then have a real ceremony when he gets to come home next Christmas. Her dad has cancer and they called him and said he only has a few days left. He got emergency leave from Navy for 5 days and came home to be with her. She wants her dad at her wedding, so they called last nite and they are getting married at her house tonite, and then he has to leave Wed to go back. Haven't said, but I'm guessing she will wait till after her dad passes and then go out to be with him in CT. Oldest daughter is having a fit because she hasn't met bride yet, not sure if she will like her or not. Keeps asking us what we are going to do about it. Told her we are going to go and smile and pray for the best, don't have too many options. She seems to be nice, decent girl, 24, he is 26. Just praying that this works out and he don't have to much trouble from Navy. Will let you know how it unfolds. Chris
