Yeah -- the feedback system has major drawbacks. I agree with Pooh Bear. If I pay you promptly at the end of an auction for something, that's my end of the bargain kept and a positive deserved. But I don't think I've ever received feedback after buying until it arrives and I leave feedback for the seller. You can get pretty gunshy about complaining.
Couldn't help myself finally with one twit who posted pics of some vintage 8mm movie cartons I wanted to compliment an antique camera collection. She was selling dozens of them and each one appeared to be worn, but undamaged. Well, what the bit...er lady did was take one photo of the best carton she had and then use that pic for every posting. The ones that arrived at my door had pen marks scribbled all over and were basically useless for display. Ripped her a good one in both email and feedback. Interesting, she never retaliated. That's rare, though I hear.
