I am an Indian farmer having nearly 70 acre fully irrigated land. Three times in year we use to grow crops as follows (1) July-October: Rice (2) November-February: Wheat, Muster, Sunflower etc. (3) March-June: Rice, Sunflower. Therefore, we usually cultivate nearly 210 acres of field through out year. I have one 70's model Escort(~40HP) tractor and after nearly 30 years good service it gives some time serious troubles. In our country farmer hardly requires giant tractors( unlike USA farmer) therefore, we are thinking to buy one new tractor within range of 40 to 60 HP. Among varieties of tractors brands, I am thinking about these five. (1) Massey-Ferguson (2) Swaraj ( National ) (3) Farmtrac (4) Mahindra (National) (5) New Holland Can anyone suggest me which would be preferable for me, maximum time we uses tractor for cultivation rather than harvesting or other farming stuff. We are familiar with first four tractors listed above but not fifth one which is new to the Indian farmers. While during my agriculture Web search I often come across fascinating world of New Hollands Tractors.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
