I would say these guys are not far off on there pricing, this would have to be a 500 dollar trip, ,, if he wants it by the hour tell him 75 bucks and hr,, that puts 25 in you pocket and 50 towards the truck for fuel, maintenance, insurance title etc,,, THats not an unheard of price for a 300 + mile round trip,, in all actuallity you should get paid both ways,, [not just the 150 there] because it is his trailer both ways,,, the travel from you to him will be your bite,,
and yes be sure that the trailers are loaded and unloaded before you leave ,, or it will be a 75 dollar and hour charge for waiting,,, more if you need to help unload,,,
he knows that it is cheaper to have you haul it at almost any price than for him to have his own rig,, besides he is including hauling in his sale you can be sure of that,,
you cant cut your throat I found that the hard way, if you are going to move your truck YOU NEED to get paid,,, a saying I heard that kinda changed my mind about how I charge,, and made sense, was bid them like you dont need them,,
good luck with you decision,, also remember one stop by DOT or a blow out, breakdown, etc,,, will be right out of your pocket,, so it aint all profit, if he sqwauks at the price,,
