Roger........ALL 9N/2N's came from the factory solid GRAY everywhere. Variously described as industrial gray, battleship gray, forest gray. Many were later painted the more colorful 8N litegray & vermilion red. Its yer tractor, paint it enny color that pleases you.
2. Due to excessive dirt clouds raised by mechanical weed control, many 9N's had an air breather bonnet extended thru the hood back by the driver. The optional vertical exhaust is "looped" forward from the back of manifold with muffler extending upwards from front of engine outside the hood by dogleg.
