Yeah, I went in to A-Zone looking for a group 27 for my Dodge a while back. I walk in carrying the old battery and the guy stops me, and asks if he can help. I say OK & tell him I need a group 27 battery. He says sure, what's it off of? I say why's it matter, I need a group 27 battery. He says I need to know the make/model to look up the right part. I say it's a group 27, but then give in. We go through the whole pedigree, 2001, Dodge, Ram 1500, V8, 5.9, 4wd, short bed, x-cab, cloth seats, dark green, etc. He gets enough info to place an order for an entire new vehicle from the factory, and then says hmm, let's go look on the shelf. We walk to the shelf and stare at it for a while until he says, I guess we're sold out, there's where we keep the group 27's. Why we couldn't have done that 15min sooner, I'll never really understand.
