Several years ago I went to Sears to buy a battery. Cletk asked what I wanted.
"Gimme the biggest battery you got." "What is it for?" "Gimme the biggest battery you got.
This went on for about three rounds.
"What you gonna put it in?" "Vega, now gimme the biggest batter you got. "What you want is this," pointing to something that looked like a 12v lantern battery." "No what I want is something like that." pointing to something that looked like it came out of a Linclon Continental.
"Look, just sell me that battery."
Well, after a bunch of grumbling he did. As I picked up the battery and walked out, he followed me, opened the door, and right out into the parking lot. "Why you following me? "I wanna see you put that into your car." "OK, here's the key, open up the back for me."
He stood there with his jaw trembling as I dropped the battery in the trunk, got in the car and drove away.
Battery did actually go into my WIFE'S Vega. Seems that You could bend the lip down on one end of the battery tray, and put a real decent size battery in there! Wanted the bigger battery because of 2-way radio, extended use of lights, ability to boost other cars, etc. Besides the price was the same as the little battry!

Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
