Nellie, Be carefull with towing. Early Super Majors had three bolts holding the timing gears, in some cases these bolts have been known to shear and number three connecting rod fouls the lift pump cam on the camshaft. Remove the timeing cover plate on the right hand side of the sump near the support channels and try to turn the engine either way by means of a screw driver in the starter ring gear. Regards Brian
