OLd,politely tell him the tractor is done and he owes you x amount of money and explain that you always get cash when the job is done. Had a man buy $3000.00 worth of hay from me and I told him that it would be $3000.00 plus delivery.He paid the guys cash and sent me 3 checks dated 1 month apart those checks are still hanging on my wall above my desk.1001 excuses and even went so far to tell me that he couldn't pay because all of his money was lost due to 9/11.
