Lanse, Hard to tell from a photo but I think you can get by not pulling the pistons. Sure, the old timers with tools like to do it 100 percent, but that is some thing else. I want to warn you that if you do or ever pull the rods that that engine has lots of shims to adjust them. Be very care full and understand what they are about. At least my very eary B had them. More than one or two, more like a package on each rod bearing. Go slow and good luck. Kenny

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
