I have tried to tell him the same thing in a nice way. I also suggested that perhaps his school or another one, including where mechanics take their training, might really like to have a project like Lanse's engine to work on as part of their training. I realize that Lanse wants to do it all himself but getting a stuck engine going requires more experience than most 14 yr. olds would have.
