Guys,Lp here in North Alabama will cost right at $4.00 a gallon with tax.We have one company that has bought out all the competition. So we're faced with one company and one price. It has gotten that expensive from a $2.19 quote on at least a 125 gallon purchased since late fall.I installed a electric heat pump in September of 2007.My gas unit was over 15 years old and needed to be upgraded anyway. With the rising oil prices i decided to go all electric. So far it has turned out to be a wise move. Our electric bill has changed, but not enough to complain about. The gas customers around here are hurting because of the almost 100% increase.I have seen posts on here from the Northern states that speak of prices still around 2 bucks a gallon.I can see some variation, but not a 2 buck difference.Someone tell me why.By the way the company down here is owned by Heritage Propane.
