There is no plate. It is a number that is stamped into the casting. Use paint remover to clear off the paint and rust, to read it. Again- you are into too much of a rush- fix the tractor before painting it. It"s not even running now- you may very well rip it apart after getting it running, to fix all the things that are bad on it- which you will discover after it is running. and parts will get oil stains on it, etc. Whole "nother unnecessary problem to fix. There is a common sense order of doing things. You are not following that. But, ok- those of us who agree will simply not respond to further posts when you want advice.
