Someone needs to come down fast and hard. Wouldn't fool with the locals or even the State cause you don't know how thick the blood is. I'd do a call straight to the FBI and /or ATF. I'm all for the right to keep and bear arms, but it doesn't belong in a school. There are some real take our country back freaks out there no matter where you are. Some think Elvis is still alive and living in Vegas and are willing to shoot you if you argy. Could be the kids parents don't even know. If especially a teenager flips out and has a gun, I wouldn't want any friends or family in the area.
After you report it, some of the folks that still think Jesse James was everything except an outlaw may not talk to you anymore, but at least their kids will still be alive to tear up your mailbox.
