While I don't know exactly which website you're talking about, you might find this one interesting. I frequent it and browse through the photographs of old iron and random oddities. CAT has nearly 300 operations in 40 countries. Over half of their sales are outside the United States. They have nearly 95,000 employees, more than 100,000 dealer employees, thousands of suppliers, and are doing business on every continent. I think the chairman is Jim Owens. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
