A couple or few years ago, someone introduced me to a fella was about 80ish that did similar to his D15. He walked me over and showed me how he rigged it up, even put in a hydraulic cylinder for the power steering. Said he couldn't turn it anymore without it. Man, was he ever proud of that tractor, his flagship, but slowing way down after his wife of decades passed away. Didn't have the heart for it anymore. Wanted to sell me a pretty much mint VAC because couldn't steer it anymore and didn't want it to fall into wrong hands. I should've bought it if for no other reason so he'd know it was barned.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
