Well I've watched the video a few times and was at first appalled at what I was seeing. Then I realized they were trying to make a cow do something on concrete where it couldn't gain it's footing so was the cow actually sick or just couldn't get it's footing?
Some animals just don't respond well too comands under the best of conditions muchless being led to there death. You can't tell me some animals can't sense there about ready to bite the big one and heII yes I'd go out kicking and screaming too.
Ever had a dog or cat you were trying to train to a leash that laid down and wouldn't walk? Did you ever have to drag them a little ways to change there mind? Did you have to do that to every dog or cat? Probably not as some just learn different than others! No different with cattle as some are more difficult than others to work with.
Now if the cows were actually sick, then I have a huge problem with that as I too don't eat animals that are sick.
My parents and Grandparents were small time beef raisers and never used cattle prods but my Uncle Pete raised 400 head and he used a cattle prod all the time but not on every cow/steer only just when it was needed.
