I have 2 of them. Both are very good machines. I do around 100 acres per year. Got one 10 years ago and mostly used it. All I have ever done is put in one roller bearing and one reel belt. and of course a few cycle knives when I hit a rock. If you don't have rocks , you won't break knives. I much rather use these machines than a disk mower. I think They are much more enjoyable to use. You can find some real good deals on them sometimes. Last year I bought my second one at a farm auction for 900.00. Looks like new. I would say it don't have more than 10 or 20 hours on it. Paint was still on the cycle. Used it for the first time last fall when I broke a reel belt. With 2 machines, I never stop. Just hook to the other one and go. You will find that New Holland dealers do not stock many parts for them. There will be a lag time to order. That is why I have two machines. I can afford two of these good old machines cheaper than I can buy one disk mower. Another good thing about them is they are easy to hook up. You just drop in a pin. Plug up the hydraulics, and start mowing.
