My rebuilt carb started the fire and burned not only the tractor, but part of the garage at the time. Float wasn't right, so gas didn't stop flowing, nor did the leaks. Gas is very volatile, and when it flows, it flows quick and feeds a fire quicker.
Learn from my or other's mistakes. Do not make my same mistakes. I've seen other guys not have clutches adjusted right, and gears grabbed, and away it goes until think fast enough to kill it. Things happen, we're human and humans make mistakes, so long as the mistakes we make aren't intentional.
Just be careful. You're young, you will learn and that's the great part of life, but you have to get there to enjoy it. And never make Mom cry. That just don't make for good memories for either of you. Always, always, always take care of Mom.
