Did you guys notice that some of the problems with the mortgage loans didnt really start to hit until gas hit $3 a gal. Most people I know commute 60 mile to work. Most got a nice $300 a month increase in thier commuting costs.
People with regular mortgages have a hard time adjusting a $300 month increase in costs. poor people that got suckered into the adjustable rate mortgages just got taken out of the game.
