May not be the golden ticket for you and myself, but when I see posters on other forums trying to hide income so they don't pay $100K in taxes this year, life can't be too bad for many down-on-the-farm. The big equipment OEM's are sold out for 08 and worked real hard on 09, so again some are doing pretty good. Unless you had a drought or are a part-time/very small farmer you also should have made quite a few dollars. In this area there are a lot of millioniare farmers and those that weren't, had the last couple of years to get them well on the way towards that goal. Some chose to be farmers and need to get dirty and sweat a little, others such as Lester Holt, are blessed with a "pretty face" and good speaking ability and can make money without much physical effort.
