I don't know about Washington but your statement is dead wrong when you look in the Great Lakes region. I am in management with a company that owns 137 Burger Kings and about 40 Chilis restaurants, in 6 different states. We pay rendering companys to come in and pump out our used oil. I have researched the bio diesel conversion extensively with the idea of getting the oil free but the problem is our BK restaurants use a shortening that can not be converted. The oil from our Chilis could easily be used but the restuarants are so spread out it would not be feasible. I have as of yet not been able to convince the owners to switch BKs oil type like Mc Donalds has.
