I just bought a new Deere 2305 compact, super nice machine, 24Hp. It was delivered on Wednesday. Fit/finish/ride/operation is all real nice and smooth. Deere has 0% interest financing for 3 years, it was what sealed it for me. 10% down on the tractor. 3 year warranty. I have driven/used 5 new tractors in my time. and they are. 1. My new one that I just bought. 2. My neighbors dads tractor, 1999 Deere 4300--35 Hp. W/loader. He has had it for 5 years now. 3. A 1998 New holland TC25--nice but a real PITA for the hydra-static rocker foot pedal, I got a real horrible foot cramp from using it for 1 hour. 4. A 25 HP Kubota utiltiy tractor that was a Piece of junk. 5. a mid 90s Cub cadet utility tractor. And various older ones, 8N, I owned a IH-H too. My dealer gave me $1,100 off of the list price of the JD2305. The dealer charged me a $100 setup-delivery fee. I bought tire chains $95 and I got a rear blade. All for $10,875. The 0% financing is real nice, I get to ride on Deere's money for 3 years. I didnt get the loader yet because the sales guy told me that the price is $2,800 + tax. I will likely get an aftermarket one. I tried to buy a cub cadet for months but the cub line is being overhauled and I cant buy what I want yet, so I bought the deere. I also tried to get a Case IH compact but the closest dealer is over 40 miles away, and the sales guy never returned my calls, so he is SOL. Anyway good luck.
