Stan, I had read about that, but understood that CA dropped the idea to reconsider at a later date. This must be the later date. I know that a suburb west of Chicago, forgot its name now just brought up the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Some guy named Dubinski or something like that, that lead the charge in Illinois going smokeless in all public places the first of this year. I understand that he's offended by chimney smoke when he's down wind of it. Guys like that had better watch it...can't chop fire wood with the ol' double bit and hate to see it rusting away in the corner, so gotta chop something...
I'd heard years ago that parts of CA actually put water meters on private wells and bill accordingly. Is that true?
