Gerald j Is right use the copper core wires .also I have found that types of spark plugs will make a huge differance ,, esspecially in the two cylinder John Deeres .. they preform their best with AC C 88 L plugs . they just wont putt right with autolites or champion!! spend the extrs for the ACs it'll be well worth it .
