Hmmmm. I'm not rightly familiar with that truck, but I do have half an idea what it is. Depending on his locality be may get that for it but I would tend to think it closer to the hundred bucks a tonne mark than what he wants.... If you find someone with a fondness for european cabover trucks then you might get a buyer, otherwise I think he's got a liability on his hands.... or he needs to find someone needing a cheap truck and willing to take a gamble. 'Here', trucks just get old and fall apart. It's the salt belt, and it gets them, one and all. It's got two things against it. 1. It's a cabover. 2. It's no doubt got an oddball Volvo power train that will cost a fortune to repair for even every day service items. There's a reason why more trucks than most are powered by Cummins, Cat and Detroit all driving RoadRanger transmissions. They're common and easy to obtain used parts for.... Volvo is not. Might be a great truck, but it will be preceived as a problem, and when you put it to work it will break down the same as all the rest.
