Both my sisters drive Hondas and have gotten execptional service from them. I don't fault them or anyone else for driving the car of their choice, but I personally will NEVER purchase a vehicle from someone we fought in my lifetime. I realize that many of the vehicles are actually made in this country by Americans and that Americans own stock in the companies. I've seen too much footage of Baatan, Auschwitz, etc. I know that the people who perpetrated those crimes against humanity are mostly dead and the countries are now our allies, but that doesn't change my (irrational) feelings. I'm an old man and in many ways, am more tolerant; in other things, my resolve has only stiffened. (Come to think of it, I won't buy from a country whose schtick is wine and amour, either.) I'm glad your daughter is all right.
