Antique Engine and Tractor Association, Atkinson, Ill. Not sure about shotgun raffle with Illinois' restrictive gun laws. Over the last 3 years, I have bought raffle tickets for; Oliver super77 from Kansas, H Farmall at Hamilton, Ill., New Agco lawn tractor with loader and mower deck at Homestead, Ia, several pedal tractors and numerous toy ractors. Just wondering if anyone on here belongs to a club that has done this and what is invloved in setting it up and was it profitable? We are looking into grants and assistance from Ill. dept of tourism and others, but we still need to raise $$ to cover our share of expenses. Club is in 48 or 49th year, finally getting out own showgrounds instead of leasing show site. Now any improvements will belong to us and can be used to make a bigger and better show.
