Chris, Our club is a newer club, but we get a peddle something to raffle. this year it is a JD peddle combine, it is donated by a local toy store. If you have some that are good with a welder, There are a bunch of us that will weld up bolt tractors. Each person makes a certain part, and one guy assembles them, I sand blast a lot them. they sell for 10.00 each, and we have implements for them. We have had wagons, manure spreaders, sycle bar mowers, and disc so far. We normally sell about 100-125 tractors a year and implements. When I get to my shop tomorrow, I will take some pictures and post here to show you what you they look like. We have made Olivers, Farmalls, AC and now JD for 2007. Jim

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
