I bought a computer at Best Buy with the extended warrantee. The CD drive failed and I took it back to the store. I told them it had a bad CD drive. They said it would be ready in a week. I went back after a week and they said, "Oh no, we never said that, we send them to a shop in Chicago, it will back after a month".
When they had had it for a month, they called to say that they had found out what was wrong. It had a bad CD drive, and they would have to order it, and it would take a week to get the part from their supplier. Another week after that I had my computer back.
What sort of computer shop doesn't stock normal parts, and where were they ordering parts that shipped parts ground?
The extended warrantee is only as good as the company backing it. Best Buy has got very little of my money since then.
