yeah that's why if anyone strange comes around, i stand at the door and watch them with a wepon in hand...just in case they "wonder" around. if they just go to the barn or shed i shoot in the air to let them know where i am and that i have a deadly wepon in hand. a while back, a couple kids came to my house with a bolt cutters and some gas cans. they cut the lock on my gas barrel and helped themselves...until i fired off my 12 gauge into the air. buy they ran like mad! they didn't make off with anything but i got 2 free gas cans and a brand new bolt cutters! oh and i always have a knife in my pocket anyways for farm reasons too. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
