yeah that's why if anyone strange comes around, i stand at the door and watch them with a wepon in hand...just in case they "wonder" around. if they just go to the barn or shed i shoot in the air to let them know where i am and that i have a deadly wepon in hand. a while back, a couple kids came to my house with a bolt cutters and some gas cans. they cut the lock on my gas barrel and helped themselves...until i fired off my 12 gauge into the air. buy they ran like mad! they didn't make off with anything but i got 2 free gas cans and a brand new bolt cutters! oh and i always have a knife in my pocket anyways for farm reasons too.
