My 4 wheel Galion works extremely well. One caution, the tow driver needs to be able to see where the blade tip is working if you're cutting to the road edge.
The grader operator stays pretty busy too, unless it's a long straight stretch. 5 blade adjustments on mine.
An alternative, I discovered at auction where I bought everything in the honeysuckle for 5 bucks, was an old car frame ('54 Ford I was told) turned backwards with a huge old water tank section for the cutting edge. Worked surprisingly well with my 3 point hitch. The tank was set up to pivot in either direction for crowning, but was only perpendicular to the road. Wide steel wheels, why, I have no idea.
Very functional. Much better grading job than a simple rear blade.
