dang. Were pretty tight out here. Our neighbors came home one day and found their other car wide open and a mess inside, and called me over. I was thinking "Gee-ive been in my shop alone all afternoon-i dont even have an allibie for this one" but they were asking anyone if anyone had been over for a "visit". People here may be a little TOO trusting. LOL another time i was helping the farmer bale hay in this field next to a house with a barn that the hay was to go in. There was a truck in the way, and i knew the people through the church. We called them, and they told us they just left and would be back in a few hours, but fed us instructions through the phone-house keys under this, now look in here-nothing?? Look in this room-now in this one. We never found the keys but the guy discovered the truck was a manuel and parked on a slope so he hit the clutch and it rolled........I love this place!!

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
