There's a fellow down the road from me that has a Seaman GS7W. His has a large rototiller mounted on it. The Farm Equipment guide says that they were built from 1955 to 1957. There were 3 models that were different only because of the engine used. One used a 4-71 GM diesel. Another used a 427 CID Continental gas and the other used a 451 CID Waukashi gas. The diesel unit weighs 10,430 pounds while the Cont. gas weighs 9384. These were big tractors for their time.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
